How we Proceed for Birth Certificates?
On receiving your request for Birth Certificate, Sahara Care House will depute an efficient Relationship Ambassador who shall first of all conduct a thorough search on the records of the municipality office concerned based on the parent’s name and applicant’s date of birth to find whether the birth is registered at that Municipality office or not.
The Birth was Registered: In case the birth was registered with a name, then the birth certificate will be issued as per the details available in the records of the Municipality office.
However, many a times the name would not have been mentioned at the time of birth. In such situations, the name can be included by submitting a name inclusion form along with an affidavit from parents/relative and copies of the school certificates (X or XII), residence proof of parent/applicant, the applicant’s passport or any other document as may be required in your case.
Non-Availability of Birth Certificate (NABC): In situations where birth was not registered, a Non-Availability of Birth Certificate (NABC) first needs to be obtained from the Municipality office. Besides, an affidavit from parent or a close relative is required stating the birth took place at home / hospital will have to be obtained followed by an endorsement from a notary public. Then a vakalatnama has to be filed by the Parents/close relatives through a lawyer and submitted to the Municipality court of that jurisdiction along with Non-Availability of Birth Certificate.
"A Class" Magistrate will then review the case and issue a standing order to the Municipal office to make a fresh entry and then issue a new birth certificate.
